After Kreiss & GFP, Electronical Reeds is pleased to welcome on the label a second Parisian duo, Yann & Tristan. The duo is formed at the dawn of 2010 between Yann, a sound designer with multiple collaborative projects over the past ten years, and Tristan, member of Technorama collective and resident at 4 Elements in Paris. With both conceptual and intuitive sides, the DJ duo’s productions revolve around dancefloor oriented Techno.

The EP opens with Donde Esta Pedro, a great example of a tasty mix between techno and melody. The efficiency on the dancefloor is guaranteed by a successful Deep Techno construction including strong and hypnotic presence of strings and intelligent use of reverbs. This track has already received great support from the French godfather of techno, Laurent Garnier. Indeed, Laurent Garnier played this track during an L.B.S. gig last summer at Cocoon Club in Frankfurt. The Duck Odyssey C, second track on this release, shows the darker side of the duo. A heavy and steadier rhythm constantly evolving throughout the track has an uplifting effect perfect for a peak time set.
