Electronical Reeds is proud to announce its first release. True to the spirit of our label which is the discovery of new talents and the promotion of their work, the choice was naturally focused on the new project, Optional Feast, composed by the artists and sound engineers, Xavier Gueurten and Luc Tytgat. The first has been mixing since many years and has an unequalled sense of fun, the second regularly collaborates with leading artists and labels such as PIAS, Fnac Music or EMI. Enriched by these many experiments, the two accomplices began in producing and present us now their first title, Zahyara.
This release takes us into the world of ethnic Tech House, tinged with the warm and captivating sounds from Africa. On those tribal and festive rhythmics, this track is gradually taking off to reveal all its richness with the arrival of flutes that is lost in a chain of delay. From this title, a positive energy emerges through a round bass and a break, revealing the magical joy of African songs. As a final burst of summer in the early autumn, Zahyara does not fail to bewitch a dancefloor. The In Da House Mix version, for its part, sees the emergence of gimiks with more typed sounds which will captivate some people and offers a much more House version of this track.
Mirko Loko, renown artist of the Cadenza team, carries us away with his remix in a mechanical and spatial world with a 100% Tech House orientation. This version embarks the dancefloor on an African nine-minute journey thanks to its entraining and instigating rhythmic and an ethnic- hypnotic vocal. More atmospheric with synthesizers, it offers a captivating break and a festive rise at will.
After marking the spirits with its various productions on 03 Records, Ecco offers us a remix in a more hypnotic approach. Keeping the African ethnic beat, he succeeds to transport us to a more mechanical universe thanks to a more Techno approach of this track. The use of voices is minimalist but fits perfectly with the atmosphere, further accentuated by three different basses to create a more constructed evolution of the title.
